The book represents the Bible --the inspired, only, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God. It is central to all we do and believe. It is nothing short of the magnificent story of God’s love for us. Our mission and message flow from the Word of God.

The heart in our logo reminds us that God’s promise to “take away our heart of stone” and to “give us a new heart" (Ezekiel 36:26a) has been accomplished by the work of Jesus Christ.  In Christ, we are new creations (Romans 6:6, 2 Cor. 5:17, Gal. 2:20).  We appeal to the deepest and truest parts of one’s being, believing that as a Christian our deepest and truest desires are for that which is true, honorable, holy, pure, and beautiful.

The vertical element at the top serves as a two-fold reminder. First and foremost, it is a cross, reminding us of Jesus’ love and sacrifice so that we might be redeemed and set free. Second, it is a sword, reminding us of the spiritual battle that exists with the world (Romans 12:2), the flesh (Gal. 5:17) and the devil (2 Peter 5:8).

The first stream represents the need to build relationships with those who are lost, hurting and hungry.

The second stream represents the rescue mission, telling of the mission of Jesus to set us free from the kingdom of darkness, spiritual bondage and the status quo.

The third stream represents the restoration that takes place in our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit, helping us grow to become more like Christ.

The fourth stream represents the need for all believers to be released -- to live their lives for Christ to build the Kingdom of God and impact others in a way that counts for eternity.
